About TU Dresden

TU Dresden, founded in 1828, is one of the largest universities of technology in Germany and since 2012 one of eleven German Universities of Excellence.

The Chair of Distributed and Networked Systems is a research group at the Faculty of Computer Science at TU Dresden. Its mission is to advance distributed and networked systems to positively impact the lives of people.

The Internet is particularly important to them because the Internet is the largest distributed, networked system that is currently deployed. In their words:

“We want to keep the Internet, its services, and applications open but secure, convinced that all pieces of the puzzle should be accessible to everyone.”

We are thrilled to have TU Dresden join the DNS-OARC community and look forward to collaborating with them in the future.

Welcome aboard, TU Dresden!
