OARC 24 in Buenos Aires

OARC 24 is nearly upon us, and we’re very excited. This will be our first Workshop in the Southern Hemisphere ; and we have a jam packed Workshop programme with an excellent theme — Operational Practices Reports and “How we solved this problem”, split up over various sessions, including Data Analysis, Privacy, Tools and Measurements and Research.

The scheduled Agenda has now been published, and the OARC 24 website gives you further details including the list of speakers and a précis of each of the presentations.

Day 1 starts at 9am when you can pick up your pre-printed delegate badge, and the Workshop begins at 10am, includes a couple of coffee breaks and lunch for networking opportunities and lasts until approximately 6pm after which all participants are invited to the evening Social. Day 2 sessions start at 9am last until 6pm — again with a couple of coffee breaks and lunch in between.

We hope you’ll all be able to join us on 31 March and 1 April, just before IETF 95, at Intercontinental Buenos Aires. However, registration is limited and seats filling up, so if you haven’t already registered you should do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE via the Registration link on the OARC 24 website!

Registration is free for members, sponsors and speakers and only US$150 for non-members until 17 March, after which time an additional late registration fee applies to all.

If you haven’t found a hotel yet, you’re cutting it close. We still have a limited number of discounted rooms (US$175 + 21% tax per night, King Deluxe Superior Room) available at the workshop venue, however neither the discount, nor the block of rooms will remain available after 29 February. Other conferences taking place in the city during that period is making room availability extremely limited. If you require accommodation, book now via the Accommodation link on the OARC 24 website.

A big thank you to Registro.br, VeriSign, Comcast and NTT Communications for being our sponsors this time around. We are still offering sponsorship opportunities, so if your organisation is interested in sponsoring OARC 24, please email sponsor@dns-oarc.net
