Phil Regnauld, DNS-OARC Executive Director to be President 1/1/24

We are delighted to announce a significant milestone in the history of
DNS-OARC. After an exhaustive search for a successor to Keith Mitchell, we
are thrilled to welcome Phil Regnauld as the new President of DNS-OARC,
effective from 1/1/24.

Phil brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to our
organization, with a background that spans both the public and private
sectors. An entrepreneur since the early 2000s, Phil has been a
collaborator with the University of Oregon’s Network Startup Resource
Center
, a DNS-OARC member, for almost 20 years.

His track record includes decades of capacity building and engineering
assistance to Research and Education Networks (RENs), ccTLDs, and other
actors in emerging markets, particularly in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific.

What’s more, Phil’s international and multicultural background uniquely
positions him to lead DNS-OARC into the next phase of growth and excellence.

He will be working alongside Keith during a handover process, initially
serving as Executive Director from the 1st of October, before taking
over the role of President at the beginning of the new year.

We are committed to expanding OARC’s relevance and the scope of its
activities, all while maintaining our unwavering dedication to improving the services and value our members receive. We are grateful to Keith
for his continued involvement as he transitions to the role of Company
Secretary, ensuring stability and continuity for what has been built over
the past 17 years.

DNS-OARC remains the center of excellence for DNS operators, vendors,
and researchers, and with Phil’s leadership, we look forward to taking
our organization to new heights, building upon the solid foundation laid
by Keith with the support of our community.

Join us in welcoming Phil as the new President of DNS-OARC, and
stay tuned for exciting developments as we continue to evolve and serve our members and the DNS community.
